Saturday, at the Boca Royale Golf and Country Club, the Rotonda West Women's Club hosted a "Spring Fashion Soriee Show and Luncheon." Madalin's, at 407 W. Dearborn St., Englewood, provided the fashions.

Dee Drusky has been associated with Madalin's for 16 of the 26 years they have been in business. She an her staff are noted for giving "personalized care" to all their customers. The Rotonda West Women's Club will donate the proceeds from this benefit to Meals on Wheels, Lemon Bay High School Scholarships, Helping Hands, Special Olympics, Hacienda Girls Ranch, Alzheimer's, Hoby (Hugh O'Brien Youth Foundation) Friends of the Library, Amber Lake Wildlife.

The Ronald McDonald House, Rock Camp (Reaching out to cancer kids). Ticket committee persons were Linnie Beatty, Rae Blech, June Patton, Bonnie Wine. The door prizes committee, hand made all the much admired door prizes; the committee included, Jean Bay, Clair Hendry, Ginny Kern, Rachel Parios, Betty Pearson. Raffle committee was, Liz Congdon, Ruth Jones, Mickey Neville, Sue Nichol.

The Reservations committee included Glenna Mines, Pat Gillerm, Peggy Lyndon, and Bette Goodie. Decorations were by Ginny Kern; a purple theme was adopted. The basket center pieces were decorated with lace and pearls and included real purple pansies.

Taking care of the publicity was Lynn Foecking, Dolores McNeill, Ruthe Kuhn. with programs by Ruthe Kuhn. Models were Trudy Grossouw, Jean Hallett, Anne Jamison, Sande Prentis, Linda Robinson, Evelyn Tapscott, Phyliss Wilkinson, Bonnie Wine, Helen Shears, and Marion Strunz.
